I am still trying to figure out why people are getting all upset over anything and everything, whether it affects them or not. When one is upset, one looses focus and cannot think nor plan straight. I believe that when anything is not right, nor seem to be right,  it needs to be fixed or repaired. If it cannot be fixed then I think that it needs to be replaced. It is as simple as that.  Unfortunately this is not the correct answer to everything that may bother us today, but it may be a good starting point. wisdom to know the difference.

Sometimes we lack the courage to change the things we can, for reasons best known to ourselves. Sometimes we just accept the things that we cannot change. There is always a plan “B”, but many of us do not look pass our nose. Most times there is a plan for every letter of the alphabet, but we do not think outside the box, nor are we encouraged to push the envelope. I notice a hypocritical trend these days, of people using words to make the negative issues appear to be positive. Is it that some people feel that they are “smarter” than the average consumer, and that we are supposed to accept everything that they spew out? I have stopped trying to figure out why people feel that stupidity is more than common sense. I have stopped trying to figure out why sensible people allow bullshit to be made legal. I have friends who may say that when “high science” is at play common sense can be made to take a walk … but that can only happen if the keepers of “common sense” agree and allow it.

In 1967 there was an evil plan to wipe out a major part of the Basseterre population by blowing up the bulk storage tanks on New Town Bay Road.  You have to talk to people who know about petrol bulk storage, the effects of setting one ablaze, and what would happen, to fully understand the devastating impact this would have on the area, the City and the Country as a whole. I am not sure that the Fire fighting services personnel of 1967 knew what they know today, so they would not have the equipment or knowledge to contain nor extinguish the raging flames from a few million gallons of gasolene. But GOD was with St Kitts then and this most evil activity did not succeed.

Fast forward 50-years to 2017, and I hear that another evil plan is hatched up again, to subtly wipe out the Basseterre population. The forces of evil never give up, they keep trying, and refine their tactics, with subtlety, and if we are not vigilant and watchful they will win over us. St Kitts has gone irretrievably fast forward in the last 50 years. So why do the forces of evil need to conqueror the people of Basseterre, and bring St Kitts to its knees? Is there something historical that we do not know? I know that the four [4] main religious denomination Headquarters are in Basseterre and within 5-minutes walking distance of each other.  I see that every village in St Kitts has a branch outreach center of a main religious denomination. In addition to this I see many other Christian religious organizations springing up in many houses across the country.  Is it that the forces of evil are losing ground fast, and so the plan is to infect and make sick as much people as possible?

If you know the biblical story of JOB, when you are sick in body, from drinking the polluted water, and you are having a difficult time to recover your health, you may not be willing to praise GOD in your hard time, and the forces of evil believe this. He has tried this before. It did not work on JOB, but it worked on countless other people in our world. Now he wants to try it in our St Kitts. We have resisted the dark evil forces before, and won, and we need to keep resisting them all the time. They will not give up, and neither must we. Praise GOD that we have CLEAN drinking water all the time. One of the few natural clean water places in our region. Thank GOD for this.  Pray that the forces of evil will NEVER EVER get to contaminate our drinking water, which GOD has provided for our children and children’s children.

We know that water is ‘life’ for every human being. More than three quarters of our body is water. Any attack on the water that we need to consume continuously, is an attack on our ‘life’. Now that we are aware that CLEAN, unpolluted  water is critical to our survival, it is up to us to ensure that we have CLEAN water all the time. We all need to research and know how to check and test the water that we DRINK every day. Many of us have gone pass drinking tap water, and invest in bottled water instead. But we bathe in tap water, and wash our clothes in tap water, and use it for almost everything else. Water is essential and we need to be serious about it. Stop taking it for granted.

Now that we know “people” are working overtime to saddle us with polluted drinking water, we have a short lead time to get ourselves prepared. We all have internet and computers so check it out, see and learn how to identify, check and test for CLEAN water, be mindful that people are hell bent on adding a faecal pollutants to our Basseterre water supply. We need to pray for more rain so that we can store every drop. We need our scientists to build devices that can extract water from the air. I suppose that very soon there will be a national investment in a desalination plant. So check it out early.

I am just wondering how this polluted water can affect our Tourism product. I was told that some cruise ships come here for the oil and the water. I guess the cruise ships will discover that we give them polluted water when their guests get sick and it is diagnosed to be caused by our polluted water.  How will the cruise industry react? How will our Tourism industry react? We are building hotels like we crazy. I suppose that they will not drink and use the polluted water, maybe they will have to import their own water, or install their own fresh water or desalination plant. The hotels operating cost just went up.
